Great experience exists within the Window Industry but lack of formal examination has made
recognition of those skills hard to demonstrate. The IFP through a simple qualification process offers
those professionals a medium to illustrate their training and is open to Managers, Salespersons,
Administrators, Estimators, Contract Supervisors, Installers and Fabrication Staff.
Administered by a simple postal / distance examination paper that all with 2 yrs experience within the
industry should qualify within their field will allow members to add MIFP (Member of the Institute of
Fenestration Professionals) to their name. This qualification is recognised by most employers.

Admission is based on experience not formal qualifications
all levels of education will be able to gain entry to the
institute as long as the candidate has a sound knowledge of
their own individual skill.
